My First Post

I've created this blog to log the transition between living in a very conservative area and moving to a fairly liberal area. The idea of this blog is not to trash either side but to find a middle from the area and people I grew up with and the new area and people I've taken into my life.

I feel like a good way to branch the transition is the green movement. It is something that is catching on in suburbia but not to the point it has in certain granola areas. I'm trying to find somewhere in the middle. I would love to be greener but I understand the feeling of just going too far.

My goal is to post daily and to always provide a photo. So for my first post, I googled "going green" in google images and this is the first photo that popped up. It came from a website called whatheythink.com featuring a blog about going green in the office.
